Welcome to #FriendshipMoose Learning Raid with Morgainn from <TenPercentMoreDelicious>. Attending this event will make you slightly more delicious.
The group is 10/13H & we are working towards TEH MOOSE. Some raiding experience is required to join Heroic runs.
. For absolute beginners, I will run some
normal events and also check out Mordecai's learn2raid events.

This week we will continue doing Heroic Zakuun
At some point we might also try to kill downstairs token bosses & possibly N Archimonde.
Logs from the event will be used to select group for next week.
For Heroic bosses, Weakauras2 or TellMeWhen will be required
to help people with reacting to mechanics. I will provide weakaura strings.

You must be open to feedback, asking questions, discussing mechanics and your assigned tasks during the encounter
If you have trouble moving out of bad, get GTFO; it will yell at you to move if you're standing in poop:
weakauras2 installed (see link above)
Have DBM installed and running: www.curse.com/addons/wow/deadly-boss-mods
Have talents and glyphs selected, as well as gemmed and enchanted gear, even if with cheap enchants/gems. For information on your class stats, talents, glyphs, gems, etc., see icyveins: www.icy-veins.com/
Bring consumables: flasks and potions appropriate for your class
Have mumble installed and ready to go for the event; anyone not in mumble at event start will be removed from the group: http://www.mumble.com/
Be on time and stay for the duration of the event without random AFKing
If we get to Iskar, there will be a REQUIRED ADDON you MUST have installed and running
Iskar Assist: http://www.curse.com/addons/wow/iskar-assist
If you have Exorsus Raid Tools installed, you don't need Iskar Assist, but Iskar Assist is much lighter and is recommended for beginners

All fights will be explained before we pull and after the wipe we'll go over what went wrong and what needs to be adjusted. However, if you can watch a video beforehand, that will be helpful.
Finally, about loot: It will be Masterlooted and players will roll for Main Spec (role they perform in the raid) > Off Spec
* * *
What will get you removed & earn you negative feedback
Any kind of rude behaviour or language; keep it clean and respectful
Calling out other players
Not following raid leader's instructions. While suggestions and feedback are welcome, we will be following raid leader's strategies
Nerdraging of any kind and/or loot drama

About the event
This is a learning raid for people who want to get into raiding but don't know where to start, don't have a guild team to help them, or are intimidated by Looking for Group requirements. Sign up to get a small taste of "real" raiding and work on learning the fights, learning your spec, and learning what raiding is all about.
I'm putting this together because of the "That's right, I'm scared to join LFM groups" thread on battle.net General forums.
My name is Morgainn, GM and RL of <TenPercentMoreDelicious> that was 10/14M in SoO, AotC in HM and BRF and our team is 13/13H HFC.
I was a total noob keyboard turning in LFR about 2 years ago until I decided to try raiding through openraid. In a few months I went from being totally clueless to leading my own Normal (Heroic) team. We are taking a break from raiding so I thought I could try starting a learning group.
People seem to be afraid to try out "real" raiding. If that is the case, this group is for those who are actually interested in learning in a friendly non-intimidating environment.
However, this is NOT a carry group. We will discuss strategy, mechanics, what went wrong, what needs to be improved, and players will be asked to perform things like interrupts, dispels, etc.
If you sign up, you will be given feedback and will be expected to make sincere efforts to learn and improve as we work through the encounters. All fights will be logged to warcraftlogs.com and anyone interested in feedback about their play or what they need to work on will be welcome to contact me after the raid.
This is NOT a group for people who are impatient, elitist, or generally obnoxious. There will be wipes and we might not actually kill anything.
