What we're doing...
Emerald Nightmare Normal Achievements
Running Glory of the Legion Raider: Emerald Nightmare again for those who missed the first one months ago.
Invites start at ~9:20–after Gul’dan. Raid time starts at 8:30. If you are not in raid by 9:25 CST reserves get your spot. If we have room and you're late you can join in later, but no guarantees. If you KNOW you will be late, send a message to us in the Discord. Discord info is at the bottom of this tab if you are on approved/reserves. It serves you well to join the server early.
Invites will not be sent manually as the open raid invite functionality is broken. Invites will be done by accepting my btag request and whispering "inv" to Comyodanzo on your bnet friends list. You may also queue for the "Convergent Raid" or use the quick join feature. It is your responsibility to be in the raid on time. Anyone not in raid (and in discord voice--link is on this page) at least 5 minutes before raid time forfeits their spot and will be replaced with reserves or from raid finder.
-Casual time investment
-Underperforming players will be trimmed from raid for the sake of group progression.
Convergent-Korgath; DK tank
Sign ups should meet all of the following expectations:
-Fully enchanted gear
-Flasks/potions/food buff on all encounters
-have Exorsus Raid Tools add-on installed
-have DBM or BigWigs installed
-Knowledge in all Heroic encounters
-Discord (for voice) installed (mic is not required, but helpful)
Disclaimer: If you mess up on a mechanics, cause a wipe, or die repeatedly, you will get called out by me. Be a good sport, and correct your mistakes. I do not usually remove people from the raid for mistakes, and if you ask any of the people who raid with me, I usually err on the side of giving people too many chances. I do not call people out because I am an elitist jerk looking to shame people with less experience. I call people out because I am an elitist jerk that respects people's time, and I do not want the mistake repeated..
Repeated mistakes = Fewer bosses killed = Less loot for the attendees who committed their time = Dishonoring people's time.
TL;DR- If you do a bad, the raid leader may inform you of the bad you did. Do better next pull..
Respect your time and the time of others
Admitting your mistake diffuses my frustration very quickly. When I know that people know what they did wrong we can move on and trust that people will do better. When people don't admit their mistake, we have to waste time looking through logs and consider removing people. My Flaw: When people communicate (preferably in mumble), I perceive them as human beings who make mistakes and want to have fun playing game. When people don't communicate I tend to view their characters as points of data that must be purged if they cost the raid time. So it is to your benefit to speak up if you:
A) are confused about a mechanic,
B) know you messed up a mechanic, or
C) think you maybe messed up a mechanic.
My priority: respect others' time first, then respect an individual's feelings.
TL;DR- If you did a bad, say, "It was me <insert your name here> who did the bad. What can I do to fix it?" And I will gladly teach you without you having to worry about being kicked.. Remaining silent may result in your removal from the raid. Love you.
Performance Matters: If you fail@ mechanics, die early in a fight, or do significantly less damage than what is expected, die to avoidable mechanics or if your low performance is costing the raid as a whole a kill, I reserve the right to sit you for that boss or remove you from the raid. Out of respect for the time of the raid members, you will be sat for fights where you are preventing success.
